2009 is the International Year of Natural Fibre
and Surilox Alpacas is the only Alpaca stud in the world that is an accredited partner of the International Year of Natural Fibre.

All this year Surilox has hosted visitors to the farm to celebrate this event.

According to the UN Australia is on the brink of becoming the largest producers of elite alpaca fibre in the world.
