Peru is a developing country. According to the IMF it is ranked around 80 of 170 countries in GDP. But this does not really reflect the real state of the economy in Peru.
There is no social or economic welfare in Peru and 80+% of the population live in hovels that are little more than bamboo walls and rusted corrugate for a roof.
The west coast of Peru is an absolute desert where annual rainfall is less than 3 mm.


On a trip earlier this year to Peru we met up with and formed an alliance with a small group of family run businesses.
All our jewellery is made in family-run workshops and are situated in Lima and Cusco.
The handmade jewelry have designs that are based on traditional Inca Jewellery
