Types of Herbal Teas

Chai is a Spice Tea mixture popular in India. we have 2 types of Chai.

Morning Chai contains no caffeine and is a delicious blend of Pepper, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Ginger, Cloves, and is sweetened with Stevia, a plant with 300 times the sweetness of sugar. It is usually made on milk and can be made with soy milk or even coconut milk.

Afternoon Chai is designed to minimise stimulants and soothe the mind and spirit. It contains Vanilla, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Ginger, Cloves and Stevia.

Chamomile Tea is a traditional remedy for sleeplessness. It is safe for people of all ages and has been used for children who are teething or with stomach upset.

Flexibility ~ This tea was designed specifically for a client with arthritic pain in her hands. Flexibility is made from Celery Seed, Green Tea, Lavender, Oregano, Parsley, Peppermint, Rosemary, Sesame Seed and Stevia. These herbs are indicated in the treatment of the painful joint swellings that accompany Arthritis and Rheumatic conditions.

Diet is also a factor in the relief of arthritic pain. You might consider adding yams and other orange vegetables to your diet, tumeric, lots of melons, garlic, onion and avoid meat from
4-legged friends.

Green Tea ~ We have 2 types of Green Tea available. Green tea is very high in anti-oxidants. Chinese Green Tea is the young leaf from the Camellia Sinensis & is a true Green Tea. Australian Green Tea is from the Ti or Tea Tree, this is a Melaleuka. The tea was popular and was the original tea used in Australia from the late 1790's to mid 1950's. It was the replacement for traditional Black Tea when the supplies ran out in early Sydney Town. What the first settlers didn't know was the high anti-oxidant value of this tea.

Jasmine Tea ~ Another wonderful Chinese Tea, very high in anti-oxidants.

New! Jasmine Flower Tea ~ The delicate flavour of pure Jasmine Flowers. You don't need to use many flowers to get an extraordinary flavour.

Peppermint Tea ~ This is simply the best Peppermint Tea!
Traditionally used to aid digestion & settle the stomach, commonly used for morning sickness. Peppermint Tea can also be used for bronchitis, chills, common cold, cramps, fevers, gastritis, halitosis, headaches, motion sickness, nasal congestion, and painful menstruation. Safe for children.

Peppermint, Chamomile & Nettle
Nettle Tea is a traditional remedy used by women to treat the discomfort of menopause. Nettle Tea is said to calm hot flushes by regulating histamines in the body. Hot flushes can be caused by a drop in oestrogen or by stress. Peppermint helps give a feeling of well being & calms the stomach while the Chamomile helps deal with extra levels of stress by allowing the body to relax.

Relax Tea is a delicious and soothing mixture of Chamomile, Fennel, Lavender, Lime Flower and Passionflower. Relax Tea contains herbs that are used in the treatment of sleep disorders and stress, Relax Tea will help you deal with stress. For women - if you are suffering the symptoms of menopause, the last thing you need is to endure more stress in your life. This tea should aid in relaxation to assist the body adjust to your new hormone levels. This tea should be taken in moderation by pregnant women.

Vitality ~ This tea is a mixture of Hibiscus, Calendula, Cinnamon, Elderflower, Eyebright and Nettle. These herbs are known for their ability to boost the spirit and the immune system. The tea is a lovely red colour in the cup and has a delicious cinnamon aroma. Health & Vitality Tea is delicious and can be taken by anyone.

All our herbal tisanes and spice & herb mixes are sourced wherever possible from organic farm environments. The herbs from our farm are not treated with chemicals, are fertilized organically and we use bio-dynamic compost tea.

Remember with any Herb or Spice mixture - Store in a cool dark place in an air tight container to retain best flavour. Our teas are packed fresh and are best used within 2 months of being packed. Seek medical advice prior to taking any herbal mixture as a remedy.
